Foot measuring guide.

Ordering shoes from an online shop is not always easy. Below are some tips to find the right size. This quick guide helps you find the right size, saving time, money, and protecting the environment.

How to measure your feet.

Trace your feet.

  • Place a sheet of paper in front of a wall.
  • Stand with your full weight on the paper, with your heel touching the wall.
  • Trace both feet. You can also ask a friend to help you.
  • Measure the longest point of your feet using a ruler or measuring tape.

Measure the length of your feet in millimeters from the heel to the longest toe point.

  • The longest point can be the big toe or another toe.
  • Then add about 5 mm to the obtained value. Add 7-10 mm if you plan to wear wool socks.
  • Compare the measured value with the "inner shoe length" information in the product details. Note: Length varies depending on the shoe.

For example, the right foot length is 238 mm and the left foot length is 240 mm. Add 5 mm to the larger foot, totaling 245 mm. For AAVA boots, choose size 37 (the inner length for AAVA size 37 is 243 mm).

Please note that Pomar shoes tend to run slightly larger compared to European shoes. The heel and toes have more room. If the product specifies a wide last, the shoe offers more space. Learn more here.

Most Pomar shoes have a removable insole that can be replaced with a thinner or thicker one if needed. This allows you to increase or decrease space.
