Since our founding, we have aimed to do things properly. That means understanding our entire value chain, from materials and subcontractors to logistics and the end user. While this knowledge has long guided our operations, we now want to communicate it more openly and clearly.
We are committed to the UN Race to Zero campaign and recognize that the journey towards genuinely low-carbon operations is a long one. Change does not happen overnight, but responsible action begins with an honest understanding of where we stand today. With that knowledge, we can make better choices and drive measurable improvements over time.
Only 3% of the world’s shoes are made in Europe. At Pomar, we have an exceptional advantage: we manufacture our shoes in our own factory. This gives us greater visibility into production, the opportunity to continuously improve our processes, and both the responsibility and the possibility to do things right.
