The Fennia Prize-winning felt collection is inspired by craftsmanship, nature, and the Nordic way of life. We redesigned the traditional felt boot to meet modern needs and northern weather conditions. Felt is an excellent material for footwear because wool is naturally warm and breathable. In collaboration with GORE-TEX®, we also developed a waterproof version of the felt collection. With the clearly designed Pomar felt shoes, you can enjoy all kinds of Nordic weather with dry feet and peace of mind.
Created for use
The Pomar wool felt is made in Italy. The felt contains 70% wool and 30% polyester and has a water-resistant treatment. Wool is a very warm and breathable footwear material. Polyester is included in the felt to achieve better durability and firmness. The durability of pure wool material would not be sufficient for the demands placed on the durability of our footwear. A warm, breathable, waterproof, timeless in style, durable, and condition-designed shoe is, in our opinion, an ecologically sensible choice.
